BlogOmaha Brewing Launches First Georgia-Brewed Hard Seltzer

Maltitude in downtown Columbus.

With nearly 14 months of research and development in the books, we are proud to announce the release of our hard-sparkling water, Island Rain.

You may have seen a social media blast here and there mentioning details or noticed it on tap in our tasting room, but as of last week, our distribution partners are stocked and the official release of Georgia’s first locally-brewed hard seltzer has begun.

Beginning with a single flavor in coconut-lime, Island Rain will be available in 12oz. six-packs and on draft immediately. As the year progresses, stay updated on our website and social media for potential new flavor releases.

The distribution focus for Island Rain goes back to our roots; Launching in the middle, south and coastal Georgia markets, limited distribution in the Atlanta-metro area and state-wide in Alabama.

As Georgia’s first production brewery in South Georgia, we pride ourselves in offering craft beer culture in not only the larger cities, but all of the small towns who have supported us from the beginning.

As we continue to grow as a family, we’ve seen the incremental growth of craft beer in the South as well, and we’re here to make sure all craft beer (or seltzer) fans have a place to call home in the Chattahoochee Valley.

Island Rain pairs well not only alone, but as a mixer with various spirits as well. Serve it alone in a pint glass or on ice and/or with a slice of lime. But no matter how you serve it, it’s always best enjoyed with the sand beneath your feet, even if only in your imagination.

If you are interested in carrying Island Rain as a retailer, please contact our sales manager, Nicolette Conran, at nicolette@omahabrewingcompany.com and visit iromaha.com for more details.
